GAC needed to revamp their onboarding module because their old resources were out-of-date and did not quite fit the needs of their Foreign School audience. So, I stepped in to create a training solution that would be both relevant and effective.
I started by meeting with SMEs from the HR team and sending out surveys to pinpoint what new advisors were really missing. During this process, I also worked on developing an action map for the project, focusing on their business goal. With this, I then crafted a detailed storyboard using Word. The actual module came to life in Storyline 360, and I enhanced it with visuals from Adobe XD, Canva, and Photoshop to keep content engaging.
To make the learning experience interactive, I added features like quizzes and scenarios. I made sure to set clear learning goals throughout the module and included knowledge checks to reinforce what was learned.
Once the module was developed, we tested it with a small group of new advisors. Their feedback was important for tweaking the content to make it clearer and more effective. After finalizing everything, the module went live on GAC’s LMS. I set up tracking to keep an eye on how it was used and how well it performed. A few weeks post-launch, I reviewed the feedback and performance metrics and made some necessary improvements.
