The coffee shop faced a challenge with its existing menu, which was too complex and caused customer frustration. To address this, I designed a mobile-responsive interactive menu to simplify the ordering process and enhance navigation.
I began by consulting with the coffee shop owners to understand their concerns and goals. I then created a survey for customers to gather direct feedback on the current menu's issues. To encourage participation, it was offered a coffee to those who completed the survey. This helped in collecting valuable insights into customer experiences and areas of confusion. Also, part of the project included in-person observations, so I could better understand the challenges customers were facing in a real situation. With this, I collaborated with the owners to clarify content and design needs. The interactive menu was crafted to meet the coffee shop’s strategic goals, ensuring that design elements supported both user experience and business objectives.
Through iterative testing and refinement based on the collected feedback, the final product streamlined the ordering process, resolving the initial issues and improving overall customer satisfaction.
